Because all landlords in the District of Columbia are required to have a Basic Business License (BBL) as part of their license and registration requirements, this amnesty program could assist any unlicensed DC landlords. A press release of the Amnesty Program can be found here. A flyer advertising the program can be found here. Battino & Sokolow PLLC specializes in DC real estate matters such as the requirements for a landlord to be properly licensed and registered. Please give us a call to discuss.
