NPR: Landlords Need To Get Paid, Too.

NPR’s Morning Edition interviewed Aaron Sokolow in its new series on low-income tenants. Aaron discusses the difficulties that Washington, DC landlords encounter in evicting tenants who have an array of free legal service providers and delay tactics at their fingertips. DC Landlord License Amnesty

The DC Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DCRA) has announced a Business License Amnesty Program. Because all landlords in the District of Columbia are required to have a Basic Business License (BBL) as part of their license and registration requirements, this amnesty program could assist any unlicensed DC landlords.
